The Limited Edition Print

Remembered Song by Robin Rivers, is available as  a numbered, signed limited-edition print of the original mixed-media collage. I created this piece using vintage papers, handmade papers, book pages, paper butterflies, acrylic paint, and matte medium on paper.

It measures 10×10 and  I will ship this piece flat to ensure no creasing occurs.  Please note that colours and contrast vary between different monitors.  The colours of the print may not match your monitor’s display exactly. Additionally, copyright of my artwork does not transfer with purchase.

The Inspiration for Remembered Song by Robin Rivers

The ancestors in my family love to show up at special moments in the form of butterflies. As long as I can remember, a butterfly or two has graced every important family event. When my dad passed away in April, I created this piece to celebrate the memories of those we have lost and know they are always with us.

The Artist

Robin Rivers is a multidisciplinary storyteller, exploring the nature of time through memory, myth, and magic. Her work often includes her original photography, handmade papers, ephemera collected on her travels, and retellings of old stories; and is deeply influenced by her Polish and French roots. Robin creates all pieces at Studio Albertine in Vancouver, Canada—on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. This includes the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
