The Limited Edition Print

Hedge Dwellers Limited Edition Prints by Robin Rivers are numbered, signed archival prints from the original mixed-media collage. I created this piece using my original photography that has not been digitally altered, acrylic medium and gold. Only six prints will be made available.

The prints measures 11×17 and  I will ship this piece flat to ensure no creasing occurs.  Please note that colours and contrast vary between different monitors.  The colours of the print may not match your monitor’s display exactly. Additionally, copyright of my artwork does not transfer with purchase.

The Inspiration for Hedge Dwellers by Robin Rivers

The gardens of my neighbourhood in Vancouver are amongst some of the most vibrant in the city. On long morning walks, I take my camera to capture bits and pieces, exquisite light, and unique perspectives. This piece came from a love of the garden’s edge, where flowers gather and float in the breeze. I created it as a way to consider how we remember gardens—the softness, the curve, the light, and the secrets magic of that dance.

The Artist

Robin Rivers is a multidisciplinary storyteller, exploring the nature of time through memory, myth, and magic. Her work often includes her original photography, handmade papers, ephemera collected on her travels, and retellings of old stories; and is deeply influenced by her Polish and French roots. Robin creates all pieces at Studio Albertine in Vancouver, Canada—on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. This includes the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
