I couldn’t contain my excitement. Yesterday, I received the news that my debut novel, Woman On The Wall, The Sibylline Chronicles Vol. 1, has been named a finalist for the Sunshine Coast Writers and Editors Society Book Awards for BC Authors. What a moment to find myself included on the list that celebrates the countless hours poured into crafting stories.
So Much To Be Grateful For . . .
I’m excited, as an indy author, for these opportunities. Now, my book reaches more readers, writers and editors in Canada . We all work so hard and understand the countless hours spent crafting any story. We all face so many moments of doubt and the process is a gruelling one. The work of seeing it come to life taught me so much. This recognition is a reminder to believe in my stories, tell them as best as I can, and to continue sharing stories that touch the hearts and minds of readers.
